With filling systems at interpack

Fricke presents filling systems to the packaging industry

After a six‐year break due to the pandemic, the world’s largest trade fair for the packaging industry and the related process industry is already on the starting blocks. From May 4 to 10, 2023, experts and industry professionals will be gathering at interpack in Düsseldorf and presenting innovations extending along the entire value chain for key target groups from the fields of food, beverages, confectionary and baked goods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, nonfood and industrial goods. Fricke Abfülltechnik GmbH & Co. KG, the mechanical engineering company from Minden, Germany, will also be there exhibiting its flexible filling systems to the packaging industry.

Fricke’s filling systems allow for the fast and reliable filling of liquids for many applications and industries, such as chemicals, paints, adhesives, foodstuffs, oils, lubricants and cleaning agents. Whether filling above‐level, below‐level or below bunghole, the fully or semi‐automated filling systems are constructed in line with customers’ requirements and are easy to handle, intuitive to operate and ergonomic in construction.

Speed and flexibility in the filling process

Cleanliness, drip resistance, repeatability and speed are critical factors when it comes to the fast and flexible filling of liquids. Fricke’s filling systems were constructed in a way that allows for the efficient and precise filling of liquids into conventional containers. The filling takes place directly on the pallet, and the machine operator can control it with a single hand, making the process much more ergonomic. It’s especially convenient that the systems don’t need to be modified when switching between different container types. Once the program number has been entered, the equipment automatically adjusts itself for the corresponding container size, helping reliably prevent damage to the machine and the containers, and allowing for the filling process to begin. Fricke’s compact and space‐saving filling systems allow for the precise and calibratable filling of liquids into different containers, be they cans, buckets, pails, canisters, barrels or IBCs.

Fricke supports its customers from the design to the completion of the systems, taking account of the particular requirements. Fricke’s systems are extraordinarily high performing and cover a broad range of applications. This applies both to new systems and when systems need to be integrated into existing production areas. Fricke’s systems are perfectly aligned with each other as custom solutions designed precisely for the particular application. This allows for the best possible use of resources and the utmost reliability. Systems for use in potentially explosive atmospheres are, of course, compliant with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.

German‐made engineering expertise

As a long‐standing family‐run company, Fricke is in its fifth generation of developing and manufacturing German‐made filling and dosing systems for many different industries, along with the corresponding software solutions. Thanks to its clear brand positioning and strong sales concepts, the company today serves clients from around the world.

“Come and see our high‐performing filling systems at this year’s interpack in Düsseldorf,” says Dirk Novak, Sales Director at Fricke. “We look forward to connecting with you at our trade fair stand A40 in hall 12.
