At this year’s World Perfumery Congress in Miami, Florida, visitors can literally experience the fragrances of the whole wide world. From June 29 to July 1, 2022, the perfumery world will be exhibiting its leading trends and innovations. Among the exhibitors will be the German company Fricke Dosing + Filling Systems, which is well known in the perfumery industry. Fricke will be presenting its laboratory dosing systems, which are very popular around the world.
Perfume manufacturing involves the crafting of highly sophisticated creations that are elaborately composed by perfumers. With the utmost precision and an optimum level of automation, Fricke provides highly specialized fragrance manufacturers with dosing systems that meet their specific requirements. Fricke sets standards in the combination of precision and speed. The secret is the modular construction of their systems. Fricke Dosing + Filling Systems was founded in 1870 in the town of Rehme (in North Rhine-Westphalia), where it began by manufacturing decimal scales, which primarily supported merchants in correctly weighing agricultural products. The company’s product portfolio gradually expanded; besides a bagging scale for coal and charcoal briquettes, the company soon went on to develop and produce its first filling systems and then dosing systems, which are still employed in various industries.
Today, the company from Minden is a leading manufacturer of dosing and filling systems, including the corresponding control software in fully or partly automated versions. Its customers are located around the globe and include representatives from the perfume and aroma industry, the paint and varnish industry, and the chemical industry. The company has always been family-owned and is currently being managed in its fifth generation. The company presently has some 110 employees at its Minden site, with 34 of them working in the areas of support and software development.
