Minden, 10 February 2022. As of 1 January 2022, Dirk Sandmann is Head of Electrical Engineering and Arnd Schössler Head of Software Development at Fricke Abfülltechnik GmbH & Co. KG. They have taken on the former remit of Mario Markmann, who was appointed Chief Technology Officer and joined the Management Board, also on 1 January. The internationally active, family-owned company develops and produces dosing and filling systems, together with tailor-made software solutions, for a variety of industries, thereby supplying the essential components for process-optimized production. These organizational changes strengthen technological knowhow in key functions, enabling Fricke to focus still more strongly on market needs.
Dirk Sandmann has been employed by Fricke as an electrical engineer since July 2019. On 1 January 2022, he took on the position of Head of Electrical Engineering, with responsibility for the construction, production and documentation of the dosing and filling systems. A state-qualified engineer, he has about 10 years of professional experience in electrical and mechatronics engineering. Prior to joining Fricke, he worked for the Erwin Quader group.
Arnd Schössler started his career as a software engineer at Fricke in August 1998, immediately after completing his studies and obtaining a degree in electrical engineering. As Head of Software Development, he is now responsible for the development of software for the automation of equipment as well as for the overall production planning software and accompanying analysis tools.

Fricke Abfülltechnik GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1870 in Rehme (North Rhine-Westphalia) and began by producing decimal scales that mainly helped dealers to weigh agricultural products correctly. The product portfolio was gradually expanded, Fricke then developing bagging scales for coal and briquettes, and soon afterwards the first dosing and filling systems, which are still used in numerous industries. Today, the company offers fully and semi-automatic dosing and filling systems, together with the associated control software, for a variety of industries, including perfumes and aromas, coatings and paints, care und cleaning products, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, foods, chemicals, adhesives, and construction chemicals and auxiliaries. Family-owned since it was founded, Fricke is currently led by a fifth-generation Managing Director and employs a staff of about 110 in Minden-Meissen – 16 of whom work in support and software development.
